In our wholesale women’s knitwear production, we use 7 GG and 14 GG full-fashion knitting machines. Thanks to our extensive machine park, we can efficiently and consistently manufacture a wide variety of knitwear styles.
We work with different yarn types such as Rayon, Angola Viskon Elit, Olympos Gospar, Polen and eyelash yarn. We do not use regenerated yarn. Quality is a priority in every yarn we select, and all production is carried out according to REEL TRİKO standards.
Are There Any Styles That Are Difficult to Produce on the Machines?
Some knitted structures and styles require a higher level of technical expertise. However, thanks to our experienced craftsmen, pattern teams, shift supervisors and extensive machine park, REEL TRİKO is able to overcome these challenges and produce a wide variety of designs to a high standard.
Do the Machines Reduce Your Workload?
Machines are at the heart of our production process and significantly reduce the workload. Most operations in the knitting workshop are carried out using our machinery. Our modern technology helps us maintain speed, precision and continuity throughout production.
What Are the Main Challenges in the Knitting Workshop?
One of the main challenges in the knitting industry is finding trained and qualified personnel. In previous years, more new professionals were trained in the sector, while today it has become increasingly difficult to find experienced workers who continue to develop their skills. This is a challenge faced not only by knitwear manufacturers but by many production industries.
What Types of Yarns Do You Use?
We use different yarn types including Angola Viskon Elit, Corespun, Rayon, Polen, eyelash yarn and Mint. Yarn selection is based on the design, season, knitting technique and desired hand feel of the finished garment.
How Do Different Yarns Affect the Knitted Fabric?
Yarn selection directly affects the appearance, hand feel, elasticity and overall character of knitwear. High-quality yarns help create a more balanced knitted structure while improving the texture and overall appearance of the garment. For this reason, selecting the right yarn for each design is one of the most important stages of production.
What Is the Difference Between Fine-Gauge and Coarse-Gauge Knitting Machines?
At REEL TRİKO, we use both 7 GG and 14 GG knitting machines. A 7 GG machine has seven needles per inch of the needle bed and is generally used for heavier and more substantial knitted structures.
A 14 GG machine has fourteen needles per inch, allowing for finer and denser knitted fabrics.
With 7 GG machines, stitches are generally more visible and can create a fuller, more dimensional appearance. With 14 GG machines, the smaller and denser stitches make it possible to produce finer, smoother, more elegant and flexible knitwear.
